blood sugar bircher

Ingredients

  • 200g rolled oats

  • 400ml of almond milk

  • 200g whole natural live yoghurt or coconut yoghurt

  • 50g chopped nuts and seeds of your choice

  • 4 tbsp chopped dried apricots or 3 fresh apricots

  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1 medium apple, cored, grated

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and stir well.

  2. Separate into individual tupperware to grab and go or place in one large air-tight container.

  3. Leave to soak overnight in the fridge.

  4. Serve on its own, or pair with yoghurt and fresh fruit in the morning.

  5. Keep air tight in the fridge for up to a week.
